The onus is on fruit quality and balance and not on winemaking solutions or corrections. The growing season for the Mac Forbes Yarra Valley Pinot Noir 2020 vintage was highly unusual and difficult to predict. The resulting wine is heady perfume of lifted wild fruits and an elegant, fine boned structure. 

Catalina Sounds Pinot Noir 2020, 750ml
Three outstanding vineyards produce the fruit for the impressive Catalina Sounds Pinot Noir 2020 vintage. An alluring mix of dark berry fruits, lifted florals and spice marry with underlying savoury notes. It’s elegant and silky with wild, dark berry flavours and gentle dried herb notes. This medium-bodied pinot has exceptional fruit and tannin balance which lingers in the mouth. Pair it with crispy skin duck or new season lamb.

Fat Bastard Pinot Noir 2019,750ml
Fat Bastard Pinot Noir 2019 is a pale ruby colour. The nose has aromas of lifted cherries, rosehip, and hints of bay leaves. The palate is big and juicy with a medium body. The palate unfolds with dark cherries and ripe raspberries, combined with cranberry juice-like acidity, fine tannins and hint of smoky spice. Drink this wine over a couple of days and watch it evolve. 

Sticks Pinot Noir 2019, 750ml
Sticks Pinot Noir 2019 vintage has aromas of plum, raspberry, beetroot, and cinnamon. Followed by a palate of dark cherry, red plum, coffee, toast and spice. A lighter style wine with a savoury finish.

Spinning Top Pinot Noir 2018, 750ml

For any diehard Liverpool fan, a toast to their manager is a must for what has been a long wait over the last 20 years. On the nose, the wine has hints of spices, the palate is a beautiful blend of subtle oak, forest floor, dark cherries, mixed with subtle hints of plum and red berries. A beautiful depth of flavour and good length to finish.
