Yelland & Paps Second Take Vermentino 2020, 750ml
Yelland & Papps Second Take Vermentino 2020 vintage was wild fermentation on skins in tanks for 231 days. The resulting wine is a pale straw colour. The nose boasts aromas of lemon barley water, rose petals, exotic spices, and quince paste. The fragrances flow through to the silky textured palate with hints of citrus and lively acidity. Pair this wine with grilled fish or chicken.
Calyx Neb Noir 2019,750ml
Calyx Neb Noir 2019 vintage comes from and equal blend of Nebbiolo and Pinot Noir. The whole bunch Pinot Noir and destemmed Nebbiolo are co-fermented and left on skins for three months before heading to oak. No finings or filtration, with minimal S02 added.
Ephemera Syrah 2019, 750ml
The fruit for the Ephemera Syrah 2018 comes from an organically farmed vineyard which Rhen & Janelle have been managing since 2015. North east facing slope of loamy clay over ironstone. 70% whole bunch with a 3 week maceration. 6 months on full lees, minimal sulphur added at bottling.
Good Intentions Gris Diddly Dee 2019, 750ml
The pinot gris for the Good Intentions Gris Diddly Dee 2019 vintage was grown on flint and limestone. The fruit is de-stemmed and remains on skin for approximately 3 weeks during the primary fermentation and then pressed directly into old French oak. Barrels pinot noir rosé from their organically farmed volcanic soils are blended before bottling and then left for a few months. The pinot gris provides a savoury, saline, chalky feel with a smash of acidic pomegranate and the pinot noir gives the fruit driven aspect red berries with the aggression and grit of the volcanic soils.
Mon Tout Long Play 2020, 750ml
Mon Tout Long Play 2020 vintage has a blend of Pinot Gris 59%, Chardonnay 17%, Sauvignon Blanc 14%, Riesling 10% from 2 vineyards in Western Australia. Each grape brings its own style and flavour to the mix. Pinot Gris bring guava fruit, exotic sweet spice, and a slippery texture. Filling the middle palate, the Chardonnay has flavours of ripe melon and all round generosity. The Sauvignon Blanc provides the vibrancy and hints of sweet herbs, elderflower, and gooseberry. Finally the west stone and citrus zest come from the Riesling to tighten things up and provide length and finish.
