The 2026 Henschke Peggy's Hill Riesling is a 100% Riesling from South Australia's Eden Valley, showcasing the region's distinctive combination of bright citrus fruit, natural acidity and aromatic finesse. Named after the local landmark Peggy Hill, which sits between the villages of Eden Valley and Keyneton, the wine is sourced from a selection of long-established growers with vines ranging from 10 to 70 years of age. Planted in ancient Cambrian soils at approximately 500 metres above sea level, these vineyards provide the ideal conditions for producing Riesling of precision and longevity.

Fermented entirely in stainless steel and bottled soon after vintage, the 2026 release preserves the variety's lifted aromatics and vibrant fruit profile. Pale lemon with green-gold hues, it opens with fragrant citrus blossom, Meyer lemon, lime zest, green apple and white peach. The palate layers fresh-cut lemon, yellow grapefruit and finger lime with subtle notes of chamomile and jasmine, all carried by crisp natural acidity through to a long, pure finish. Following a growing season defined by careful vineyard management, moderate yields and slow ripening, the wine captures the freshness and varietal expression of the 2026 Eden Valley vintage. It is equally at home alongside freshly shucked oysters, grilled prawns or delicate Asian-inspired seafood dishes.
