Best’s Great Western Bin No. 0 Shiraz 2008
Best’s Bin No. 0 has always been produced from their oldest vines, with fruit selected from the lower-yielding blocks of the historic Concongella Vineyard at Great Western. This vineyard is home to 19th- and 20th-century Shiraz plantings, which result in intensely flavoured fruit. Stand out vintage from the greatest producer in the Grampians. Very, very impressive stuff and just one bottle available.
“This is a big, solid, powerful rendition, with intense dark-fruit aroma and flavour, density and chew, concentration and extract. A profound wine of tremendous length, one of the best Bin 0's in recent memory." 95 points Huon Hooke in 2011
