    The Shiraz vines at Adelina were probably planted circa 1910, no one knows exactly, and the vineyard is sandwiched between two of the Clare's greatest sites, Wendouree (which lies just 150 metres from Adelina) and the Aberfeldy vineyard. So this is an undeniable sweet-spot terroir for Shiraz. This is a stunning example of Clare Shiraz, and perhaps Adelina's finest release to date.

    Tight, dense, iodine, mint and earthiness, with deep red and black fruit, and a compact ferrous feel. It’s concentrated, slate and shale quality to tannin, almost a sticky gummy feel, a bit of raspberry juiciness, toasted hazelnut and sweep of sooty tannin to close.
