      The Macallan 18 Year Old Triple Cask Matured is a Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky from the famous whisky distillery in Scotland. The Macallan 18 Year Old Triple Cask Matured reveals the unrivalled commitment to the mastery of wood and spirit for which The Macallan has been known since it was established in 1824.       Our reputation for the extraordinary is characterised by the exceptional oak casks for which The Macallan is renowned. Sourced, crafted, toasted and seasoned under the watchful eye of The Macallan Master of Wood, the hand-picked casks are delivered to the demanding specifications of The Macallan Master Distiller. Onced filled, the maturing spirit remains undisturbed in the same cask for a full eighteen years. It is the oak that makes the greatest contribution to the quality, natural colours and distinctive aromas and flavours at the heart of this single malt whisky. 

      It is uniquely complex combination of oak casks that delivers the extraordinarily smooth and delicate character of The Macallan 18 Year Old Triple Cask Matured. A trinity of spirits, matured individually in sherry seasoned European oak casks, sherry seasoned American oak casks and ex-bourbon American oak casks and then exquisitely and expertly married together to create an exotic single malt with orange, velvety cocoa and wood spice flavours.

        Easter Elchies house proudly watches over the distillery in Speyside, Scotland. Built in 1700, this Jacobean Manor house is the Macallan's spiritual home.

        The Macallan's curiously small and uniquely shaped copper stills help concentrate the flavour of the 'New Make' spirit.
      3. The Finest Cut
        The Macallan takes one of the finest new make spirit 'cuts' of any distillery in Scotland - typically a mere 16%
      4. Exceptional Oak Casks
        The Macallan Double Cask is exclusively matured in sherry seasoned oak casks from America and Europe. These casks are filled with aged sherries in SPain and left to season before receiving new make spirit.
