      Sullivans Cove Rare Double Cask DC104 is a small-batch single malt that showcases the distillery’s signature approach to balance and depth. Winner of Best Australian Single Malt at the World Whiskies Awards 2018, this expression is a marriage of French oak ex-tawny and American oak ex-bourbon casks, aged between 10 and 14 years. Bottled at 45% ABV and limited to 1,296 bottles, it’s a compelling snapshot of Tasmania’s whisky identity.

      Crafted from 100% Tasmanian malted barley and double distilled in the distillery’s custom copper pot still, DC104 captures both elegance and intrigue. Head Distiller Heather Tillott describes it as “mellow and easy to drink,” yet layered with complexity—thanks to a mosaic of smaller casks blended to create texture and contrast. Expect sweetness and spice, warm fruit and baked grain, all delivered with signature Sullivans finesse.

      As with all Sullivans Cove whiskies, this release is non-chill filtered, additive free, and bottled without colouring. Its purity and nuance reflect the wild climate and natural resources of Hobart’s surrounds, where pristine water and craftsmanship intersect.
