Distilled in 2013 and matured for nearly a decade in a single 300L French oak cask that once held Australian tawny (port-style) wine, this release exemplifies the depth and individuality that have made these bottlings iconic.

      Cask TD0405 yielded just 477 bottles, each showcasing the robust influence of French oak: dark chocolate, dried fruit, molasses and intense spice. Rich and textured, the spirit carries the unmistakable stamp of Tasmanian provenance—made from 100% local malted barley, double distilled in the custom-built pot still known as Myrtle, and matured slowly in the island’s cool, maritime climate.
