Spring Bay Tasmanian Apera Cask Single Malt Whisky 700ml

Spring Bay whiskies are hand crafted by the sea on the East Coast of Tasmania. They are produced using on the finest ingredients including locally sourced rain water and premium Tasmanian barley. The barrels are exposed to seas mist from the nearby Spring Bay. 

This whisky is a dark copper colour in the glass. Aromas of caramel and raisins. Lifted floral notes, caramel and dried fruit sweetness with some white pepper savory hints across the palate. A delicious long and slightly dry finish which is indicative of some very fine old wood. A slightly smokey note that suggests peat but comes from the heavy cask charring.
