      For the 2017 vintage of the SantoWines Santorini PDO Assyrtiko Grande Reserve, the wine was aged for 12 months in French oak barrels followed by 12 months in the bottle. The resulting wine is a golden colour in the glass. Aromas of honey, herbs, dried nuts, tea, toast, and vanilla. Ripe citrus fruit, cedar, and sweet spices flow together across the palate A defined structure with vibrant acidity, along with a hint of salinity through to the finish. This Assyrtiko pairs well with with grilled meats or oily fish alongside a creamy sauce or roasted red meats. 

      Founded in 1947, SantoWines is now the largest organisation on the island representing all the cultivators with over 1,200 active members.
