Rockford Rifle Range Cabernet Sauvignon 2005

Cabernet Sauvignon has been planted in the Barossa continuously since 1888 and Rockford have been working with the variety since 1984. The almost-impossible-to-buy Basket Press often gets all the attention but here at Kent Street Cellars we are more partial to this Cabernet Sauvignon. Taken off four long-established vineyards along Rifle Range Road in the Tanunda sub-region, the red clay soils here help produce a wine of immense power and length typical of the bolder Barossa style. A must for any serious collector or wine drinker.
