Product Description:
Bright, tensile Chardonnay from altitude and intention. The 2023 Bourgogne Hautes Cotes de Beaune Blanc 'Au Bout du Monde' from Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey draws its structure from limestone-rich soils and vineyards planted around 400 metres above sea level. These are cooler sites, selected and developed by Colin over the past decade in pursuit of natural freshness.
Farmed and vinified with the same precision as his village and Grand Cru wines, this cuvée sees élevage in 350-litre barrels, around 15–20% new. The result is a Chardonnay of lifted citrus, mineral definition and restrained power. A vibrant entry to the Colin-Morey lineup.
