Product Description:
A bold step into still wine from a house defined by sparkling. Mumm Central Otago Pinot Noir 2022 is part of the Terroir Collection, created by G.H. Mumm in collaboration with Pernod Ricard Winemakers. It is the house’s first still release from New Zealand, sourced exclusively from the Lowburn sub-region of Central Otago, where schist and gravel soils meet sharp diurnal shifts to yield Pinot Noir of intensity and clarity.
Hand-harvested fruit and precise winemaking—including 16 months in French oak with 50% new barrels—give this wine both muscular depth and polish. With its rich fruit, savoury layers, and fine tannins, it channels Central Otago’s bold character while remaining refined and ageworthy.
