Luis Seabra made his name as winemaker for famed Portugese house Niepoort, before leaving to set up his own project in 2013.

Luis’s idea was to make uncompromising wines: the sort he wanted to make, without thinking about what the market wants. He wanted to create authentic expressions of these regions. He sources grapes from top vineyards in the Douro and Vinho Verde. Winemaking is low intervention, with natural yeast ferments , and all grapes farmed organically.. These are wines of balance and finesse and we are delighted to offer them to you in tiny quantities.

This red blend is made with traditional techniques - 30% whole bunch, some foot-stomping, of a bunch of indigineous different varieties from selected terraced 30-60 year old vineyards across the valley. Almost Saint-Joseph but way of Cornas in profile, this wine will age incredibly well, but can be drunk now with soft tannins and a lovely smoked meat and spice character backed up by firm acidity.
