Product Description:
An Islay original, refined by time. The Kilchoman 20th Anniversary 14 Year Old Bourbon Cask celebrates two decades of Islay’s only true farm distillery. Drawn from five ex-bourbon barrels filled in 2010, this single malt marks a rare long-aged release from Kilchoman. Bottled at 51.2% ABV, non-chill filtered and natural in colour, it reflects both the evolution of the distillery and its steadfast link to Islay’s land and maritime climate.
The whisky’s extended time in American oak has shaped a complex spirit where the house’s coastal smoke is layered with bourbon-driven richness. Vanilla, honey and toffee rise over gentle smoke, balanced by lemon zest and sea salt. It is a confident statement from a distillery still led by its founding family, crafted entirely on Islay with barley grown, malted, distilled and matured on-site.
This 14 Year Old forms part of Kilchoman’s 20th Anniversary Cask Series, a limited release that honours the farm-to-bottle philosophy at the heart of the distillery. It stands as both a celebration of Kilchoman’s past and a quiet showcase of how Islay’s terroir continues to define its most distinctive single malts.
