Kavalan Solist Vinho Barrique Cask Strength Single Malt Taiwanese Whisky 700ml (Leather Case)

In ancient times, the land around I-Lan in Taiwan was called Kavalan, a mysterious land that was solely inhabited by the indigenous people of the Kavalan clan. The name was officially recognized by the Emperor of the Chin dynasty in the year of 1809 when the original city was also built under the same name.

Fully matured in American oak wine barrels that have been allowed to season in the open air for 2 years before being used to mature both red and white wine. They are then re-charred to bring out caramel and vanilla notes with a delicate background of complex fruitiness.

A nose of caramelised fruits and rich chocolate leads to flavors of vanilla fudge and brambles and a delicate spiced red wine finish.
