Produced by Komasa Kanosuke Distillery Co., Ltd., the release reflects the family’s ongoing vision of creating modern Japanese whisky while honouring its long-standing shochu-making heritage. The “Double Distillery” concept combines malt whisky from the coastal Kanosuke Distillery with spirit crafted at the Hioki Distillery, resulting in a layered and highly individual expression. Matured across a combination of re-charred ex-shochu casks, sherry casks and rum casks, the whisky showcases the innovative cask management that has become a defining feature of Kanosuke releases.

Bottled at a robust natural strength, the 2025 Release delivers both richness and precision, balancing ripe orchard fruit with spice, sweetness and subtle savoury depth.
