Iniquity Batch 12 Single Malt Whisky

Coming from the Tin Shed Distillery in South Australia, Iniquity Batch 12 Single Malt Whisky is a rich and rewarding dram. On the first smell, one is greeted with figs, prunes, candied ginger, honey, pine, and toasted almonds. A mild herbaceous note takes over, consisting of rosemary, eucalyptus and menthol. A very subtle woodsmoke lingers in the background of the scent. A rich and savoury palate, full of jammy flavour that plays nicely with the rosemary and eucalyptus. Scorched almonds, cured games meats, allspice, and raisins round out the palate. The finish is good length, with herbal honey and medicinal stewed fruits. Iniquity Batch 12 Single Malt Whisky used 90% American sherry and port oak and 10% French ex Port oak.
