The 2025 Henschke Julius Riesling is drawn from the family’s sustainably farmed Eden Valley vineyard, planted on ancient sandy loam soils over gravel and bedrock. This cool-climate site, tended according to organic and biodynamic principles, yields fruit of pristine acidity and precision. Named after Julius Henschke, a fourth-generation member of the family, this wine continues a lineage that celebrates both site expression and continuity of craft.

The 2025 season was shaped by a mild, dry summer and an extended ripening period, allowing the Riesling to achieve ideal flavour concentration while retaining natural freshness. Hand-harvested fruit was gently pressed and fermented in temperature-controlled tanks, with the aim of preserving aromatics and clarity. The resulting wine displays the hallmarks of great Eden Valley Riesling: lifted florals, fine citrus, and a spine of mineral tension.
