      Founded in 1928, Heiwa Shuzo is based in Kainan City, Wakayama Prefecture, Japan. The brewery sits on the site of a former temple and draws exceptionally soft spring water flowing from the Koyasan mountain region, a key element in the character of its sake. While Heiwa is internationally recognised for its acclaimed KID sake range, the brewery has also become a benchmark producer of premium fruit liqueurs through its Tsuru-Ume collection.
