Glenrothes Sherry Cask Reserve Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Glenrothes Sherry Cask Reserve Single Malt Scotch Whisky was first introduced to their core range in 2014. It is the first single malt from Glenrothes to be completely matured in first-fill Sherry casks. 

The nose beings with scents of candied ginger, plump raisins, and crumble shortbread, which turns to oak and crushed walnuts. The palate has flavours of cinnamon and flamed orange zest, with spice and ginger from the casks. This turns raisins and sultanas. Brown sugar, citrus peel and nutmeg last on the finish.

Quietly and without compromise, The Glenrothes distillery has been producing some of Speyside's finest single malt for more than a century.
What began in 1879 continues in much the same way to this day: the making of a no-nonsense, finely crafted single malt. A whisky made with integrity, authenticity and, above all, with expert craft.
