The FROMM Pinot Noir Fromm Vineyard reflects over a quarter of a century of farming our patch of land just west of Renwick. It’s grown, not ‘made’, and represents a style of Pinot that they love - elegant and subtle with complexity and structure.
Opening with vibrant bright, red fruit aromas, the nose is under laced with earthy undertones, and a subtle dusting of oak. The palate is medium weight with supple fine tannin support. This wine is more a reflection of its terroirs and the vintage than just simply nice Pinot Noir fruit.
A very good example of Marlborough Pinot Noir with red fruits, a suggestion of floral and attractive spicy oak that flatters rather than competes with winemaker artefact. - Bob Campbell MW, 93 Points
