Product Description:
Refined, layered and unmistakably Tasmanian. The Frogmore Creek Pinot Noir 2024 is a cool-climate red from the Coal River Valley, crafted from 100% sustainably grown Pinot Noir. The 2024 season brought extended flowering and a long, slow ripening period, with harvest concluding in May. It being one of the estate’s latest on record. The result is fruit of remarkable depth, purity and natural acidity.
Fermented in open vats following a short cold soak, the wine was matured in French oak with natural malolactic fermentation, developing complexity and fine tannin texture. It reveals lifted aromatics of red berries and spice, a supple palate of cherry, plum and forest floor, and a long, savoury finish. Balancing elegance and structure, this vintage captures the essence of Tasmania’s most expressive Pinot Noir sites and will age gracefully over the coming decade.
