From parcels in Les Porroux, Le Village, Clos Solon and Les Herbuottes that total an impressive 2.92 ha Ripe yet very fresh aromas include those of red and dark pinot fruit along with floral top notes, in particular violet. The vibrant and delicious, if not especially dense, middleweight flavors conclude in a dusty and lingering finish that flirts with rusticity. Solid quality here in a package that should reward mid-term keeping. Drink: 2030+. Outstanding.

      — - Allen Meadows, Burghound, 88-91 Points.

Glowing purple. There is a fine weight of fruit, building steadily, lifting deep cherry notes, with an excellent texture, serge not silk, but it provides a fine backbone. I can see this ageing into a classic Dujac village Morey, always one of Burgundy’s great village wines. Drink: 2030-2037.

      — - Jasper Morris, Inside Burgundy, 92-94 Points.

Aromas of dark berries, plums, vine smoke and spices introduce the 2022 Morey-Saint-Denis Village, a medium to full-bodied, velvety and seamless wine that's fresh, flavourful and refined. While the higher appellations tend to grab the limelight, this is a lovely bottle in the making.

      — - William Kelley, The Wine Advocate, 92-94 Points.

The deeply-coloured Morey village is perfumed and ripe, with black plum fruit aromas and an edge of violets and earth. There is a slight hint of reduction, but this will pass. The texture is firm but not forbidding, with plenty of sweet fruit coming through on the gratifyingly long finish. The grapes come from an assortment of lieux-dits at the base of the premier cru slope, including Les Herbuottes, Les Porroux, Clos Solon, and Le Village. Most grapes were fermented as whole clusters, and the ageing continues in mainly used casks

      — - Charles Curtis MW, Decanter, 95 Points.

      Domaine Dujac

Domaine Dujac, founded in 1968 by Jacques Seysses, is a beacon of excellence in Burgundy winemaking. Situated in the heart of Morey-Saint-Denis, the estate has grown from humble beginnings to become one of the most respected producers in the region. Jacques, inspired by his father’s love for fine wines and his own experiences with Burgundy’s great winemakers, embarked on a journey to craft wines that would reflect the unique terroirs of the Côte de Nuits. Today, Domaine Dujac remains a family business, with Jacques’ son Jeremy and his wife Diana taking the reins, ensuring the estate’s legacy continues with the same dedication to quality. The winery is known for its commitment to biodynamic practices and minimal intervention winemaking, allowing the pure expression of the terroir to shine through in every bottle.
