This Petit Chablis comes from a prime location, perched atop the Grand Cru hill, just metres from the renowned Grand Cru Valmur. Additionally, the wine includes grapes from another very small 0.4 ha planting at the crest of the hill, just above Vaudésir, that the Moreau family has more recently cultivated. Despite its humble classification as a Petit Chablis, this wine exhibits great depth and detail, offering incredible value. It boasts a gorgeous, grapey, and lime-laden nose, with clear-cut, fine acidity, and wonderfully juicy notes on the palate.
With only limited quantities produced, there's a strong emphasis on the "petit." This is the smallest holding after the minuscule 0.41 ha of Clos des Hospices dans Les Clos. Fortunately, Australia and Norway receive the lion’s share of this tiny production, as it’s too small to be distributed widely elsewhere. Don’t delay, as this wine always sells out quickly!
