Deep Woods Side by Side Chardonnay 2018 is a distinctive and inviting Chardonnay made from estate-grown and premium-growers fruit from the Margaret River. The wine exhibits ripe citrus and white stone fruit characters whilst elegant use of French oak ensures a long and stylish finish, while also imparting a delightful cashew nut note flavour. The natural acidity helps lengthen the palate and the aroma brings forth nuanced notes of brioche and freshly baked bread dough. Cellaring is an option if one chooses - suggested time of up to five years from vintage. While this chardonnay pairs well with most dishes, a chicken terrine with walnuts is an exceptionally rewarding experience.
