Whispering Angel Rosé 2024 from Château d’Esclans captures the contemporary style that has made Provence rosé a global benchmark. Crafted from Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah, Rolle, and Carignan, this 6L format brings both scale and elegance to one of France’s most recognisable rosé wines. Sourced from vineyards across Provence, the 2024 vintage reflects the region’s warm days, cooling maritime influence, and pale, mineral-driven style.
The wine opens with lifted citrus and floral aromatics before moving into a palate that is supple yet energetic. Layers of strawberry, pomegranate, and nectarine are carried by fine acidity and a subtle saline edge, giving the wine both texture and precision. The large-format 6L bottle offers an ideal presentation for long lunches, celebrations, and warm-weather entertaining, while preserving the freshness and clarity that define Whispering Angel’s house style.
Balancing fruit purity with a crisp mineral finish, this Provence rosé is equally suited to seafood, Mediterranean dishes, or simply served chilled alongside summer gatherings.

Château d'Esclans was founded by Sacha Lichine, a member of one of the wine world's legendary families. Nestled in Provence, just a short drive from the glamour of Cannes and Saint-Tropez, the estate has been instrumental in transforming the global perception of Provence rosé. Known for its innovative winemaking techniques and focus on quality, Château d'Esclans has led a rosé renaissance with wines marked by elegance, depth, and complexity. The estate's rosés are celebrated worldwide for their refined balance and richness.
Harvest begins at sunrise to retain natural freshness. Grapes are picked into small crates to avoid bruising, then sorted twice for quality. A soft press and cold settling follow, with juice protected from oxidation at every stage.
Fermentation takes place in stainless steel, with individual lots assessed by taste and analysis before blending. While the proportions vary each year, the focus remains consistent: detail, restraint, and a clean, dry finish true to its place of origin.
Fresh mandarin, musk, and rose petals lead with nectarine, dill, and soft strawberry cream.
Strawberries and pomegranate flow across the palate, layered with nectarine and a flicker of saline tension.
Hints of grapefruit and raspberry acidity taper into a clean, rounded finish with subtle spice.
