Fine tool marks around the neck and rim, together with the occasional small air bubble, are natural characteristics of the handcrafting process and a hallmark of authentic studio glass. Produced in limited numbers and made to order, every decanter is engraved by Brian Hirst with its capacity, design name and his signature, affirming its provenance as an original piece of Australian studio art glass.
