Bleasdale Second Innings Malbec 2021
by Bleasdale
$23.00
The Potts family have been making wine in Langhorne Creek since 1870, with Frank Potts buying the first two plots of land in 1850, and planting the first grapes in the region in 1858.
Malbec is rarely made as a straight varietal here in Australia but it has been long championed by Bleasdale where it stands on its own two feet. As big Shiraz drinkers we should imbibe a lot more Malbec and this is the perfect starting point. This wine shows vibrant primary fruit flavours of plums, red berries and pepper spice. A plush, juicy red with velvety smooth tannins.
