A tribute to rare, Lowland single malt scotch whisky, the Bladnoch 17 Year Old was originally filled into ex Bourbon casks, then disgorged and re-filled into red wine casks for complex and vibrant flavours.
This rich and smooth whisky is a copper red in colour. The nose has aromas of subtle oak spices with sweet cinnamon and rich, red cherries. Flavours of cinnamon, dried fruit, dark cherries, and gingerbread dance across the palate. Finally a medium to long finish with a slight dryness and hint of pepper.
