Maturing in casks sourced from two of the giants of Scottish Single Malt Whisky—Laphroaig and Lagavulin—this whisky is further balanced with a dash of second-fill Port and Sherry casks. Remarkably, no peated grain is used in this whisky; the subtle peaty character comes entirely from the exceptional casks. The nose greets you with buttery smooth notes of nougat, manuka honey, peanut brittle, and a hint of smoky bacon. On the palate, expect rich flavours of Werther’s Original caramels, maple syrup, and pine needles, finishing with a delightful touch of peat-smoked almonds. It’s truly spectacular. Bottled at a robust 62.3% ABV, this limited release consists of just 371 bottles.
