Product Description:
Pure, textural, and distinctly Tasmanian. The 42 Degrees South Pinot Grigio 2025 is made by Frogmore Creek, a benchmark cool-climate producer based in the Coal River Valley. Named for Tasmania’s latitude, the 42 Degrees South label represents wines shaped by the island’s clean air, long sunlight hours and maritime influence. The 2025 vintage followed a classic Tasmanian pattern with good winter rainfall, a warm start to spring, then cool and dry through summer, yielding fruit of concentration and balance.
Crafted entirely from Pinot Grigio, the fruit was picked early to preserve acidity, then gently pressed and cold-settled overnight before cool fermentation in stainless steel. Eight weeks on lees added texture and subtle richness to the bright, citrus-led core. The result is a dry, finely structured white with clarity, fruit definition and a soft mineral edge. A natural reflection of Tasmania’s precision winemaking style.
