The Best of South Australia. From where vines meet the sea in McLaren Vale, to the fertile red soils of Clare Valley and beyond, RockBare works directly with family-owned vineyards and growers to produce their award-winning wines. Many have been part of the RockBare journey since they took their first steps 20 years ago. RockBare's first wine – a Shiraz from a vineyard near Port Willunga where rugged rocks flank the shore – was the inspiration behind their name.
RockBare Chardonnay 2019 vintage is a real show stopper. It’s textural and nutty with delicate honeydew melon and peach. Enjoy it with chicken, crayfish or runny aged brie.
Plenty of melon, some peach and gently creamy aromas lead to a palate that has a succulent, juicy and sleek feel that delivers all-round, drinkable appeal. Drink now. - Nick Stock, jamessuckling.com, 2 July, 2020
