Sourced, crafted, toasted and seasoned under the watchful eye of Macallan's Master of Wood, the hand-picked casks are delivered to the demanding specifications of Macallan's Master Distiller. Once filled, the maturing spirit remains undisturbed in the same cask for a full fifteen years. It is the oak that makes the greatest contribution to the quality, natural colour and distinctive aromas and flavours at the hear of the single malt whisky. It is a uniquely complex combination of oak casks that delivers the extraordinarily smooth and delicate character of the Macallan Triple Cask 15 Year Ol. A trinity of spirits, matured individually in sherry seasoned European oak casks, sherry seasoned American oak casks and ex-bourbon American oak casks and then exquisitely and expertly married together to create a sublime single malt with vibrant orange and chocolate flavours. 

With the colour of rich straw, aromas of rose and cinnamon sublimely fill the nostrils. On the palate, intensely rich chocolate with high notes of orange and raisin. The finishing is lingering, with orange and dried fruit to complete the experience.
