From parcels in Les Véroilles, Les Drazeys, Les Argillières and Les Fremières that total .89 ha A slightly more elegant nose freely reveals its aromas of black cherry, pretty floral and more evident spice nuances. The super-sleek and well-detailed medium weight flavours possess excellent punch while delivering slightly better length on the firm, dusty and robust finale. Derived almost exclusively from lieu-dit Les Draze, the 2022 Chambolle-Musigny Village wafts from the glass with aromas of red berries, cherries, rose petals and baking spices. This lovely village-level Chambolle is true to the house style and to the terroir, with its deep colour, fragrant black cherry fruit aromas and hints of black tea and flowers. The texture is fresh and elegant, but there is also grip and length here. The grapes come from three lieux-dits distributed throughout the village: Les Véroilles at the top, Les Argillières in the centre, and Les Drazey at the base.
