      Glenfiddich's Cask Collection is developed using their pioneering Solera Vat system. These custom wooden vats are where the magic happens. Always at least half full, they marry Glenfiddich malts mature in different oak casks to give infinite richness and complexity. 

      Malt Master, Brian Kinsman, has hand-selects peated malts matured in European and bourbon vintage casks before marring them in their Cask Collection Solera Vat No. 3 for a luxuriously smoky, velvety, and intense whisky. 

      In the glass this whisky has a golden barley colour. Aromas of freshly cut straw and bonfire smoke recall an autumn evening. Smokiness and leafy, floral notes to intrigue and delight. An initial burst of sweetness on the palate  with vanilla, crème brûlée and citrus, immediately followed by a rush of smoke, burning embers and meadow flowers.  Long lasting floral finish with smoky notes.
