Bremley Vineyard Pinot Noir 2024 is a finely detailed cool-climate red from Tasmania’s Coal River Valley, shaped by a long, moderate growing season and the region’s maritime influence. The 2024 vintage prioritises fragrance, balance and line, capturing Pinot Noir’s subtlety rather than overt power. Fruit is harvested with precision to retain natural acidity and aromatic lift, then handled gently to preserve purity and site expression. Winemaking is restrained, allowing red fruit, spice and savoury elements to emerge organically without heavy extraction. In the glass, the wine shows elegance and poise, with fruit and structure held in quiet tension. The palate is driven by freshness and finesse, supported by fine tannins that frame rather than dominate. Mineral undertones and savoury nuance reflect the Coal River Valley’s cool climate and soils. This Pinot Noir is approachable in its youth yet structured enough to evolve over the short to medium term, making it both versatile at the table and rewarding for careful cellaring.

      Bremley Vineyard

Bremley Vineyard is the creation of James and Vanessa Bresnehan, the dedicated custodians behind this distinctive vineyard in Tasmania’s Coal River Valley. Originally planted with just two hectares of Chardonnay in the early 2000s, the couple acquired the property in 2008 and began shaping it into a focused, quality-driven vineyard. Over time, the site expanded to include Pinot Noir, Pinot Blanc, and Gamay, growing to a total of 13 hectares of carefully managed vines. For many years, Bremley’s fruit was sought after by other premium producers, contributing to some of Australia’s most respected wines. However, James and Vanessa felt a strong pull to create wines that spoke directly of their own land and its character. To bring this vision to life, they collaborated with acclaimed winemakers Justin Bubb and Anna Pooley, whose precision and experience aligned seamlessly with the vineyard’s potential. Together, this partnership has established Bremley Vineyard as a producer of refined, site-expressive wines that reflect both thoughtful stewardship and collaborative craftsmanship.
