Fabien Coche, a fourth-generation vigneron, took over the management of his family's prestigious domaine in 2005, following in the footsteps of his well-known relatives. The Coche-Dury family, formerly part of the same estate until 1940 and now overseen by Fabien's cousin Raphael, holds a prominent position among Burgundy's esteemed families. Fabien has become a prominent figure in the wine industry, achieving notable success in the current generation. Showcasing his expertise and passion, Fabien's impressive collection of vineyards covers approximately 11 hectares, encompassing Meursault, Monthelie, Pommard and Auxey-Duresses.

This particular wine originates from 7 parcels of vines, strategically located within Meursault, just below the village. The grapes are delicately whole bunch pressed and then matured in a 3000 litre foudre before being transferred back to stainless steel tanks, where they rest for 6 months. Following a total of 16 months on lees, the wine is bottled in January without any fining or filtration. The meticulous craftsmanship and attention to detail applied throughout the production process contribute to the distinct character of this wine. By preserving the essence of the grapes and the unique terroir of the region, the Domaine Fabien Coche creates a wine that truly reflects the nobility and elegance of Burgundy's great wines.
