Provence in a bottle. Pale pink, bone dry, and globally adored. Whispering Angel Rosé 2024 is the benchmark for modern Provence rosé, fresh, fragrant, and endlessly drinkable. Crafted at Château d’Esclans from hand-harvested grapes and state-of-the-art vinification, this is a wine that champions both place and precision. Sourced from the best vineyards in the Esclans Valley, it’s made from a blend of Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah, Rolle (Vermentino), and Carignan, fermented in stainless steel and aged on lees for added texture and finesse.

Sacha Lichine’s vision to elevate rosé into the realm of fine wine has paid off with global cult status. Behind its whisper-light hue lies serious winemaking, manual and optical sorting, low-temperature vinification, and rigorous blending keep every vintage true to style: dry, detailed, and bright. This 2024 release is no exception, with its silken texture and lively acidity carrying notes of red berries, citrus and delicate florals.

Pair with grilled salmon, goat cheese salad or sip it solo. A perennial favourite for a reason.

“A well-rounded, focused and delicious rosé showing dried raspberries, frozen strawberries and mild spices on the nose. Medium-bodied with bright acidity. Balanced and driven, with a lively center palate and a persistent, flavorful finish.”

      — James Suckling, 92 Points

“Whispering Angel is a classic choice for rosé lovers. Made from a pretty luscious palate, it is incredibly dry. The floral and fruity aroma showcases lavender, clove and cherry notes, while the palate holds hints of spicy minerality that lead into a smooth and round finish.”

      Château d’Esclans

Château d’Esclans sits northeast of St. Tropez in the hills of Provence. When Sacha Lichine acquired the property in 2006, he brought a new level of technical focus to a region known for its charm. Whispering Angel is now produced at scale, but every stage remains closely managed—from vineyard selection to final blending.

Grapes are sourced from old vines across the Esclans Valley and surrounding sites, chosen for their structure and freshness. The winery uses a mix of manual and optical sorting, temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel, and regular lees stirring to build texture without sacrificing precision.

Hints of grapefruit and raspberry acidity taper into a clean, rounded finish with subtle spice.
