Glenmorangie The Nectar D'or is the third expression in this series that we have just gotten our hands on. This is finished in lovely syrupy Sauternes wine casks! The single malt is initially aged in American oak bourbon casks before being transferred to wine casks from Sauternes, in this instance coming from the Graves part of Bordeaux. On the tongue, lime and orange zest greet the palate. The bourbon casks add a bit of pepper, before giving way to honeysuckle and vanilla. Another beautifully balanced expression from Glenmorangie.
