This wine is sourced from select old-vine Shiraz vineyards along the Barossa Valley’s Western Ridge, a part of the region known for producing deeply concentrated and long-lived wines. Many of the old vineyards that inspire The Factor were planted in the 19th century and survive on their own roots, untouched by phylloxera. The 2023 vintage was shaped by above-average winter and spring rainfall, a cooler summer and a later harvest, resulting in low-yielding fruit with bright colour, natural acidity and strong detail across the palate.
